Help Keep SnowGoat Racing
This past winter was a tough one, and SnowGoat could use a little extra stoke as we gear up for the 2027 race season.
Skimo Northwest is a small nonprofit with very thin margins. Our goal has never been to generate a large profit, but rather to put as much of our revenue as possible back into creating great races and experiences for the skimo community. That also means we don't have a large financial cushion when a season doesn't go as planned.
This year's lack of snow forced us to cancel 5 of our 8 races, resulting in $41K less revenue than the previous season while still incurring many of the operating costs required to put on races. We ended the fiscal year with a $28K net loss, and our cash reserves are now getting pretty thin. We're working on ways to build more sustainable revenue streams going forward, but in the meantime, we need a little help getting from here to the start of the 2027 season.
Our goal is to raise $7,000 from our community.
Your donation will go directly towards critical ongoing expenses and pre-season costs to help us keep things moving until race season kicks off.
